Leticia Terrell is a survivor of Domestic Violence. She is a Senior Police Tele-communicator with the Houston Police Department where she has been employed for over 26 years. She have dealt, first hand, with the fear, pain and anguish that so many victims experience on a daily basis. She can personally relate because she too, was broken. She suffered in silence throughout her own painful, dark, uncertain and weary journey, until she decided to allow God to turn her pain into purpose.
Today, she is the Founder of Resilience Is Beauty Inc. She is a mother, free-lance Esthetician and a Makeup Artist. She started this organization because she understand how abusive relationships can impact an individual's overall well-being and state of mind.

Julie Pleasant is a retired Houston Police Department (HPD) lieutenant with over 26 years of law enforcement experience. She currently serves as a Director of HPD's Victims Service Unit. During her tenure, she is overseeing the unit's growth from six advocates to a staff of over 40 advocates, police officers, supervisors, and administrative staff. She is also a founding member of the Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) a response for ensuring the Dart field team deliver trauma-informed care to crime victims. Lieutenant Pleasant is active in the Harris County District Attorney's domestic violence high risk team, the Houston Area Council on Human Trafficking, Houston Collective Healing Projecting and the Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance.
Carvana Cloud is an Attorney and Social Entrepreneur who founded Community Empowerment Solutions (CES), a social justice collaborative designed to empower undeserved communities by creating conditions that reduce violence and promote positive outcomes where people live, learn, work, and play. As a black child exposed to domestic violence while growing up in Acres Home, one of Houston's most undeserved communities. Carvana is passionate about addressing the systematic deficiencies that exuberate violent crimes and communities of color and addresses the major social determinants of Health: 1) Economic Stability 2) Education 3) Access to Healthcare 4) Social and Community and 5) Neighborhood and Environment. Carvana began her legal career as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney's office and completed her most recent step as the Bureau Chief of the Special Victims Bureau.
Kaneisha Teague is a compassionate professional in aesthetic medicine, with over two decades of healthcare experience, focusing on lifestyle and regenerative therapies. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Her expertise is uniquely centered on natural beauty and regenerative solutions in aesthetics, where she expertly combines evidence-based treatments with a creative and nurturing approach.
Central to Kaneisha's mission is her patient-centered philosophy, deeply rooted in empathetic care and the enhancement of natural beauty through lifestyle and aesthetic practices. With over 31 years of dedicated service in the childcare industry, I have had the privilege of positively impacting the lives of numerous children and families. As a State of Texas notary for 15 years, I have upheld the highest standards of integrity and expertise, bringing a wealth of administrative and legal knowledge to my role.
In 2009, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by establishing my own childcare center, where I have continued to blend my expertise in early childhood education with a nurturing and supportive environment for children to thrive. My approach centers on creating a dynamic and enriching curriculum that encompasses play-based learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
Additionally, in response to the challenges presented by the pandemic in 2020, I founded Klever Kleaning Solutions, a phenomenal janitorial service dedicated to providing top-notch cleaning solutions for businesses and facilities. This entrepreneurial venture allowed me to diversify my skill set and contribute positively to the community during a time of great need.

Garland Alexander brings over 8 years of dedicated leadership in non-governmental organizations at the grassroots level, focusing on transformative change in faith communities, the arts, and healthcare. He has a broad and versatile educational background that complements their multidimensional approach to social issues.
Garland's distinguished efforts have been recognized with Congressional acknowledgment for Civic community matters and Youth Entrepreneurship development programs. As an ordained Minister, Garland's passion for social justice is deeply rooted in his spiritual and educational journey.
As an active advocate for positive change, Garland serves on the General Council of San Jacinto College LMT board, is an alum of Timothy Project Leadership, and currently holds the position of President at "I Believe In You," a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children from incarcerated and single parents homes within the Houston communities.
